Mike Haislip

Mike Haislip joined Monitronics in May 2005 as Chief Executive Officer and brings almost 30 years of executive management experience to Monitronics. Under his leadership, Monitronics has increased its customer base to over 650,000 and seen both revenues and authorized dealers grow in number.

Prior to Monitronics, Mike held multiple executive positions, most in the cable industry. He served in various operations and financial management positions at Cox Communications for ten years. Other positions in his career have included president of Star Cable Associates; president of Armstrong Cable; and senior vice president, Great Lakes Division, of Charter Communications. While at Charter, Mike had overall responsibility for 1.4 million customers in Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Mike began his career at Deloitte & Touche as a CPA in the audit group.

Mike received a B.S. degree in management science accounting from the University of Tennessee in 1974.
